New permanent exhibition Energy Factory Knappenrode

Exhibition curator for ERIH anchor point

As part of the project the INIK GmbH curatorially accompanied the new permanent exhibition of the energy factory Kanppenrode (ERIH anchor point) and inter alia the exhibition rooms on the ground floor (as part of the exhibition ‘The Lusatian Lake District (VI)’) developed in cooperation with the exhibition designers Kocomocnet from Leipzig and Artfm from Kraków: Foyer with concept / design ‘Energiespiel’ and concept / design “Script Prolog”. The INIK’s work was carried out within the set conditions of the extended team of curators to wich include Dr. Robert Lorenz, Dr. Claudius Noack and the sponsoring association Bergbaumuseum Knappenrode e. V.. Between 2015 to 2020, the Energy Factory Knappenrode was reorganized in terms of structure and content as part of the Saxon Industrial Museum’s special purpose association. The overall project “Object extreme. Industrial monument and factory settlement on course correction” was presented as part of the Saxon Year of Industrial Culture 2021.
