Concept for the functional and spatial reorganization of the office of the ‘Volkssolidarität’ in Cottbus

The study examined the location of the office in cottbus of the ‘Volkssolidarität’ association area Lusatia and if it can adapt to future circumstances and which role it will play for the region, the city and its districts. In the first steps the INIK evaluated and analyzed the urban planning as well as the urban and regional classification of the location. The following step included a valuation of the property with its buildings and the quarter it is located in, so that the INIK GmbH could draw conclusions for the future reorganization of the ‘Volkssolidarität’-
As a result, a holistic concept paper has been developed which points out the problems, but also shows solutions and strategies that can be used as the basis for further planning.
